 Step 1 Start off by laying the baby on an unfolded, prefold diaper. If necessary, you can place a second prefold diaper, folded in to thirds, along the middle of the first prefold diaper. |

 Step 2 Fold the edges of the prefold diaper in, at an angle so that the width under the baby is only folded in a little but the center (will go between the babies legs) is folded in thirds. |

 Step 3 Fold the diaper up between the babies legs. |
 Step 4 Fold down the top fold of the diaper so that the top of the diaper rests at about the baby's belly button. |

 Step 5 Overlap the portion of the diaper behind the baby with the portion of the diaper in front of the baby on one side. |
 Step 6 Place a pin in the side of the diaper going vertically along the babies body (from the feet to the head). |
 Steps 5 & 6 completed Repeat steps 5 and 6 on the other side. The diaper should be fairly tight around the baby's waist. |
 Step 7 Put a diaper cover on the baby. |
