Shots of the inside of the hole through the wall. On the left of the center strip there's obvious traces of bird, just a brick to the right of that strip is a hole straight through the wall. The majority of the holes through the wall are above the bottom of the moulding below the window. The small hole is especially visible in the second picture on the right side of the first full brick in the second course from the top.
A house sparrow that got in somehow during the worst of the cold spell. Can't say I blame it for wanting in, it's a heck of a lot warmer in here. Of course, if we can figure out how it got in and seal it up it'll be warmer still.
Weirdness in one of the closets. This is a table turned sideways so that it's support rungs could be turned into shelves.
After partial gutting - this room's ceiling is actually mostly intact.
